SCRATCH FREE CONTACT POINTS
Your Barrett and the Secure-50 vise block have three primary contact points consisting of POM or thermal engineered plastic. The properties of this material are impervious to chemicals, and it offers high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. This vise block has been meticulously crafted, and the contact plates are a crucial aspect.
TORQUE BLOCK
The high-strength Torque Block utilizes the Barrett operating system in a genius way. This component securely fits into the Barrel Slot, and transfers any pressure or torque applied to the strongest part of the barrel. The Torque Block is removable, no tools necessary, and is crafted from 17-4PH H900 stainless steel; a premium alloy renowned for its exceptional hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance.
SHUTTLE TENSION LEVER
Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), is designed to tension the upper receiver’s Rear Lock Pin in the rear of the vise block. HDPE offers excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and impact.
